Considering joining us?
Before becoming a member, you are welcome to attend either one monthly meeting, or one group event of your choice.
To attend a monthly meeting- come along and introduce yourself to any committee member, all of whom wear identifying badges.
To attend a Group, email the Membership Secretary. Use the CONTACT US page to do so.
To join us you will need to complete a Membership Application form (see the blue button above) and send your subscription payment. Please note that every person, even those sharing an address, needs to complete a separate form with a separate payment.

Our membership year runs from 1st April until 31st March. If you are already a full member of another u3a, you can join us as an Associate member.
The Membership fees for 1st April 2026-31st March 2027 will be as follows:
Individual Membership - £11 (No TAM magazine included)
Individual Membership - £15.20 (TAM magazine included)
Associate Membership - £7 (no TAM included as this will be arranged through the member’s main u3a branch)
Your membership entitles you to attend as many monthly meetings as you like and to join as many groups as you choose (subject to the group’s capacity). See our Groups selection.
When completing the application form, you will see the option to receive the u3a Matters TAM magazines from THIRD AGE TRUST (TAT). These magazines, which are in addition to our own locally produced newsletters, keep everyone from all over the UK up to date with news and events as they happen. Currently there are around 15,000 members receiving this newsletter FREE directly by email and they would welcome more subscribers to receive it electronically, rather than in paper form.
